What makes Bloom Women's Health different from other clinics?
We operate on a direct pay membership model, allowing us to provide a refreshing departure from traditional insurance-based healthcare systems. This model enables us to offer personalized, holistic care with longer appointment times, shorter wait times, and a more intimate patient-provider relationship. Our providers have significantly smaller patient panels, ensuring you receive the attention and care you deserve.
Why does Bloom operate on a membership-based model?
Our membership model is designed to prioritize your needs and preferences above all else. By eliminating the restrictions and bureaucracy of insurance companies, we offer transparent pricing and straightforward billing. This approach allows us to focus on health optimization and wellness, providing comprehensive, stepwise care over a period of six months or more.
How can I establish care?
You can book your initial intake visit either virtual or in-person using the booking link on our website. The initial intake visit is a 60-minute visit to review your full health history, current medication regimen, lifestyle habits, and order any necessary lab work or diagnostic testing. After this initial intake visit, we will see you in approximately 2 weeks for a follow-up visit to curate your individualized health and wellness plan based on your unique results and goals.
Do you accept insurance for medical visits?
We do not accept insurance for medical visits. However, we can provide you with a superbill after your appointment, which you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Please note that coverage is not guaranteed and depends on your insurance provider.
Can I use my insurance for lab tests and imaging?
Yes, you can use your insurance for lab test and imaging orders. We also offer competitive cash pay options for lab and specialty test, which are often more affordable than using your insurance plan.
